Over the dad and through the chairs...

Not quite to grandmother's house he goes, but it's definitely a journey getting from point A to point B.

Carter prefers to take the route that involves the most hard work and "fun" in his eyes. He loves to walk and climb over anything in his way - a parent or two, pillow, toy.

Carter has also commandeered the buffet in the dining room. The open shelf with a silver wine rack and crystal goblets has turned into the perfect cubby, just his size. Just one of the many areas of our house that are now Carter-proofed.

If Carter can crawl under or walk through it, even better. The kitchen table and chairs (used to be in the dining room) remain a favorite play spot.

What's even more fun than that? Well, it could only be maneuvering himself into the tightest of spaces. It's all fun and games until the occasional rescue team must intervene.

Definitely needed a rescue here...
Hiding behind the rocking chair and managed to escape
Under the table, holding a chair, AND chewing on a block...that takes talent
