Hello Long Lost Readers!
It's 2013 and is anyone out there? We've had a full week of coldness and were rewarded with snow (briefly) and lots of sleet/ice/rain. After our snow-a-thon in MN after Christmas (Bill is working on a video), the boys were a bit disappointed in the "snow"but managed to have fun anyway.
We managed to get in some sledding...below pic is from the screened in porch, with Bill pulling a kid in sled on his bike up the slight incline in driveway.
We also got in some icy biking...don't try this at home.
Rewarded with Hot Chocolate...aka "Marshmellow Soup".
My favorite part of winter - a nice, roaring fireplace - with a glass of red wine.
And lastly, can I give a shout out to those peeps in the north? Tip o' the hat to you, Rapps, Utz, Kennedy clan, and others. It takes FOREVER to get everyone dressed and ready to get outside. When we were in MN, Bill commented that we would be always late if we lived up there. Though, one good thing was that Owen almost always fell asleep anytime he was bundled up in the car seat - it was like a baby nap machine.

I wondered if this blog had gone the way of 2012 and was going to cease to exist! And you wouldn't always be late up North ... you'd have cars that auto-start and not worry about bundling them up for commute :-)
