So, we always try to go big on Halloween, Jack-O-Lanterns, big candy bars, and then sit outside and enjoy the fall festivities. We had all the above ingredients, but someone forgot to add the trick or treaters. Our first participant didn't arrive until close to 7:30, and we might have tallied twenty total the entire night. Kinda disappointing- unless you were the kids that made it and got as many as three big candy bars for your trouble.
Erin & I made quite a Jack-O-Lantern factory- cranking out five in about 1.5 hours (she also roasted the seeds) with her scooping and me carving. The best trick or treaters of the night didn't even have costumes (thanks Eric). Our neighbors "the doctors" spent most of the night with us in the driveway, while we tried to not eat more candy than we distributed.
Happy Halloween & thanks for reading...

Great Pumpkins!! We had a disappointing show of trick or treaters too :(

Billy,
You are so next level with the pumpkins! I think the mummy is my favorite!

Very impressive pumpkin display! Sorry about the low turn-out of trick-or-treaters. I'm sure the word will spread about the big candy bars and they'll be knocking your door down next year. Love the fashions show, too!
Cute pictures! I bet Carter has more clothes than you Bill! We know how that goes. Ben carved Hitchcock and won the pumpkin carving contest at work, did you expect any less???

I am so happy to see you are now a carving addict, glad someone else shares the insanity!!!!!!!!
Nicely done on the Pumkins. Mummy is my pick
Bill... you freaking showoff! I was lucky to get a few snaggled teeth in mine.
Nicely done.
