What I wasn't expecting, although not surprised, was the help from my 25lb sidekick.

We started be picking up some sticks and temporarily repurposing Carter's wagon for a wheelbarrow.

Since it was his wagon he insisted on driving, and made it to the backyard with "no help Daddy".

Despite barely being able to hold up and push the spreader simulataneously- Carter displayed toddler determination and took many "turns" spreading the front yard.

I bribed him with the blower to get the spreader back and he quickly displayed proficiency on this as well.

Finally the cleanup. (He didn't wrap the cord- maybe next time)

Of course he remembered the post yard popsicle even though it was only 65 degrees.
C is definitely picking up for Mommy's yard sabbatical while prego- now if he could only mow.
Thanks for reading...

Such a good helper! Send him our way. Dan needs a sidekick since I'm also on sabbatical.
Looks like you both had a great time! Blue is my favorite color of popsicle too!
No man can resist the lure of a leaf blower! Glad to see Carter is pulling his weight around the house. All 25 pounds of it.
