Rocking Remy

In mid-February, Bill had a conference in Orlando, so I jumped at the chance to make it a Schwangston family trip.  Our trip to the mouse was good (blog coming), but the bigger attraction was to see Aunt KT, Uncle Dan and Remy.  While the weather was crazy (30s to 70s), our time together was awesome!
After TWO years since our last visit together (two babies, a cross country move, and new jobs kept us apart), the boys kicked off the cousin meet and greet with no issues at all - hugs right away and a bog smooch later on.
O was super excited about seeing Remy since "he's like me, Owen's size" - not many other cousins and friends are his age/size, so it was a big deal to him.  He is usually the youngest one among our family, friends, and neighbors.  It was also a chance to finally put the long-expired nickname "Baby Remy" to rest.
O and R are about 2 months apart - they look like twinkies! One day, Kate and Dan took O back for a nap, so Bill and I could take Carter on bigger kid rides at Disney.  They played great together.
When Bill was at his conference, we split our time at Disney in the morning and then Kate's for lunch/play.  It was great.  Kate and I even managed to sneak in one game of the Schwie family favorite, Zioncheck, while the little ones slept and C watched a show.

Before the three amigos lined up in Mexico in Epcot, Aunt Kate had her hands full helping with the art project.
Uncle Dan had the odds stacked against him in 3:1 tickle war...

It was an awesome trip and hopefully our boys didn't teach R any bad habits. Aunt Kate stopped  mine from teaching him how to climb out of his crib at the last second.  We can't wait for our next visit together this fall.  We miss you Remster!
