This post has been lingering in draft mode for far too long. Oops.
As I mentioned in the last post, the Mouse was secondary to seeing my sister. However, we did have lots of fun at Disney. Bill only had 1/2 day Sat and Sunday to enjoy it, so we tried to squeeze in as much as we could with him.
We took very few pics at Animal Kingdom, but it was probably one of the best parks for us. Kate snagged the only all Schwangston Disney pic on the Dinosaur ride. Owen (and Carter) LOVED the safari and yelled out all of the animal names in Spanish. The Lion King show was awesome. In USA, there is an awesome play area where we lost Carter in it for 5 panic-inducing minutes. He led us to his discovery of an almost hidden dinosaur dig over a secret bridge that his play buddy showed him. He's probably getting another reminder below about staying with mom and dad.
On Sunday afternoon, we had some Carter only time, so we tried to ride bigger kid rides like Thunder Mountain.
The rest of the Mouse focused time was split between shorter visits to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and the Studios with Katie and Remy (and a few time me SOLO with the boys when they left earlier for naps). One of our favorites was the parade at Disney - it was the only night that it was quasi-early, so I think that we went back after naps. Kate snagged us a ROCKSTAR spot to watch and brought glow necklaces like the pro that she is...and we had to answer a lot of twin questions for the two little ones below.
For any parent out there, the Studios has a "live" Disney Jr. Clubhouse show with main characters coming to life - very impressive to the boys. They call our visit "Disney Jr." - as in, when are we going back to Disney Jr.?
Phone pic snapped to text our hard-wroking dad we were on his favorite ride - It's A Small World.
Epcot had lots of cool fish and aquarium stuff (with AC and heat - temp extremes!)
And last but not least, Bill's awesome pic backwards pic of C and me with the castle in the background on the Buzz Lightyear Ride (it was SO cold that day).
Another fan favorite of ours is free - Downtown Disney Lego shop! Already happily planning the next trip back (I actually have a fancy work conference there next January at the Grand Floridian)! Woo hoo...
