Independence Day & Man of Honor!

So sorry we've been out of the blogging loop for a couple weeks. I promise to catch up the next couple days, so please check back w/us. We've been crazy busy. Over the 4th, I hosted three of my college buddies for a "guys weekend". It was an adventure for sure. For a complete report, please check out two of the newest bloggers: Kennedys, & Reed and Pace in our links section. Meg- if you only knew what you started with your first blog, you might reconsider.

We decided to go to the races for Independence Day for some fireworks and to play the ponies. Reed and I did our best to decipher what is a very complicated betting system to pick a couple races. One of my picks was "Man of Honor" as an homage to my role in K10 & Ryan's nuptials. He won of course, and my other pick came through too! I was on fire! Unfortunately my conservative betting only netted about $20 after I financed some of Reed's less lucrative pony investments.

The fireworks were more than we expected, but so was the traffic home. It took 1.5hours to leave the parking lot, and my pregnant wife (notice the updated belly pic) was not happy. Thankfully, we all survived after some iffy moments.

Sorry again for the delay, and thanks for reading...
