Carter had a big weekend, to say the least.He met his last grandparental-unit -- my dad's wife Grandma Lisa (who still needs a "name" since Grandma does not really cut it). Little Jake (first Schwie grandchild) never came up with something "cute" for her, so he just followed our lead and calls her Grandma Lisa. Bill and I are committed to having Carter call her something else, so we'll take any suggestions below in the comments - so far, Li-li, Nana, Li-la, Lis-maw, Granny, Meemaw have been bandied about...
Carter's nasty umbilical cord finally fell off so he had his first real bath. Carter was not a big fan of bath time, but hopefully with practice, Bill and I will get a little better at handling our squirmy and slippery little guy. He was pretty relaxed, or at least worn out afterward (last pic)...That's all for now...Erin

Carter keeps getting cuter! We can't wait to meet him! Well, I can't, since Stan got to hold him already! :)
Stan's parents don't really care much for the "grandma" and "grandpa" thing, so they prefer to be called "GMK" and "GPK", the K is for Kruse. You could say "GML"? - Just a thought.

I love the photo shoot pics. They are precious!!
But I'm not loving any of the Grandmother names yet. I'm surprised that Lisa didn't put the smack down on Granny. Grandma doesn't cut it but Granny is ok? Granny is for 90 year old women.
Anyway, Carter is looking good and I can't wait to meet the little guy.
