I, I will survive...

Greetings friends and family! Carter and I are doing okay - thanks for checking in, calling, emailing, blog comments, gifts, flowers, sending chocolate (hint hint). We've only had one or two mishaps that have been completely my fault. Carter's been a pretty good boy for me and the nanny.

If I have not called or emailed you back yet, sorry - Bill's sister Kristen has been in town for a GAP convention. It's been a mad dash every day after work to drive home, change, grab Carter, and race up to the hotel for her tiny allotment of "free time" - which leaves me pretty exhausted by bedtime.  Today we got a whole 2 hours at the check-in area at the airport - below you can see one of Carter's many new outfits from Aunt K10 from Baby Gap - thanks a bunch!

My heart goes out to all of the single parents out there.  I don't know how everything gets done - I am just counting down the minutes until my husband/partner in  crime/friend/daddy gets home on Friday night. I know Carter misses him too.

Time to get ready for tomorrow and get some sleep, hopefully...Erin

Erin,
My heart goes out to you. I still don't know how our Mothers did it! It's hard enough being a full time wife: cooking, cleaning and looking presentable. Then there's work: research projects, online teaching and translation deadlines. Now add Baby Dean: nursing full time, making him homemade solids (he started chicken this week..wohoo!) and teething! By the time Stan comes home I'm too exhausted to give him a hug! Plus it doesn't help that I'm alone with Dean all day because they work Stan until 8:30pm pretty much everyday.

So my heart goes out to you! I know how hard it is and BRAVO for being such a FABULOUS Mom!!!

Carter is blessed to have such great parents!

Sending you our love!
Stan, Jessica and Baby Dean

Hi Ern! Carter is precious! I know how you feel, Russ has been traveling up a storm so far in 08 & working full time is exhausting. We'll make it though. :) Hope the little guy gets to sleeping through the entire night soon.

Love you!

That last posting was from Aimee Page. Can you tell I don't blog often? :)
