New Year, New Update

Sorry for the lack of blogs in 2008 - the post mania of Dec. 07 left us worn out (and maybe this newborn baby biz too).

Just some quick updates:

• We have been having freakishly warm weather this week so Carter and I have been walking outside quite a bit. Cousin Matthew and Aunt Amy joined us yesterday.

• Carter is officially sleeping in his crib at night too - yahoo! He's adjusted just fine - it's probably a bigger deal to me than him at this stage.

• Grandma Pat came for a visit. Can you see why little Carter has his reddish hair color? She even babysat for us on Friday night while Bill and I went out to dinner solo for the first time in ages.

• Our nanny starts on this Wed. I can't believe that I am going back next week. I did get a hair cut (about 5 inches off - visible in the walking pic). My thoughtful boy Carter got me a trip to the spa for Christmas, and I am going to try to squeeze it in before I got back to work.
