The Lion Sleeps Tonight?

So, a few weeks ago, Mrs. Schwangston was semi-bragging about lil' Carter's sleeping skills (several six to seven hour nights). I am very sad to report that those are all but a memory now. Carter has regressed into a shadow of his aforementioned sleep habits. Waking up several times a night hungry, shrieking, and crying has put the hurt on Mommy, big time. It isn't enough that she started her new job last Wednesday. Carter wanted to see how she functioned on a series of 2 and 3 hours "naps" throughout the night. If you don't know the answer, it is not so bueno. We've tried several methods to lengthen his sleep, but none have yet to deliver that solid six hours. So in a move to restore happiness and save myself from the wrath of a grumpy, sleep-deprived Mrs. Schwangston, I'm bunking up with the little guy to give her a break.
We started last night and only got up once, ate, burped and went back to sleep. Mommy woke up like brand new, and happy to see us both. Hopefully, day two will continue to build better sleep for all and peace will be restored to the jungle. Wish us luck.

Thanks for reading...

Carter needs to call Sawyer for some sleep advice. He's going for 10 hours straight! Better than Audrey ever did. Our only advice is to buy a Kiddopatamus swaddle blanket and keep his arms swaddled. Good luck!!

Bill, you are such a good Dad! I wish I had some words of wisdom for you on sleeping, but since Brooks was up most of the night last night I'm obviously no expert. Good luck!
