4 month check up

Here are the stats from the doctor's visit on Friday: weight 13 lbs 6 oz and length 24.5 inches. As our little guy showed off his strength and control, the nurse practitioner predicted that Carter will walking by 9.5 months...yikes.

His tricks include:

• (still) rolling from tummy to back, rolling 1/2 way from back to tummy
  
• kind of sitting up if positioned exactly right, more slumping over than a good posture
  
• loves to stand up while holding hands
  
• enjoys going up and down (like squats) for quite a while
  
• somehow skooching (not crawling) around in his crib and on his blanket

Carter's activities aren't too different from the last update.  He likes it when you sing and read, playing with his little gym and looking in mirrors.  He chews on everything and is a drool machine - teething is here!
