Houston, we have a problem...

2.21 update - please send even more healthy vibes, heck prayers, our way!  Bill is sick too and lil C is still congested and  coughing at night.

The problem is that our quick trip down to Houston this weekend to see family ended in Carter's first little cold/illness. Sick babies are not fun, especially when all they want to do is be held and nurse...all night long. We went to the doctor again today to get lil C checked out. Good news is that he is on the mend.

Anyway, Carter got to meet lots of new family members in Houston, especially on my mom's side. Aunt Shell (not pictured - sorry) and Uncle Gene hosted the majority of the clan, with their kids Stephie and Mike making an appearance too. The Sowells made plenty of airport trips to pick up the travelers: Aunt Barb - Chicago, Aunt Rita - Orlando, Aunt Pam - Minneapolis, and cousin Kathy - Fresno. Dad and Lisa came in from Memphis and the Collums drove down from here too. Carter was a big hit and, as you can imagine, a bit overwhelmed with all the peeps. He didn't get sick til Sunday, so everyone was able to see his easygoing nature vs. fussy little sick guy.

Not surprising, Bill had a good time playing with Jake on his bike. He set up an obstacle course of pine coves in the Hedgepeth cul de sac and Jake very carefully weaved in and out...we got to hang out with Sara and Jason at their house too.
