I've been trying to get a good picture of Carter's new teeth to add to this blog. As you can tell, most attempts turn into pictures like these, so I give up. They are some serious chompers and hurt if he happens to bite down on you. Those bottom two teeth have to be almost 100% in, right? They were first felt almost 2 months ago on Easter by Mimi Lili, aka, the grandparental unit with no real name, Lisa.
On the food front, Carter is much better at eating and swallowing than when we last checked in. Probably because of the teething uncomfortableness/pain, he really likes having texture (being able to mash/chew), so he is not into baby purees/liquidy foods. We've been making his food ourselves (just steaming/baking and serving in little bite size portions - it's easy) except for the prunes.
So far, he really likes banana, sweet potato, avacado, pears, and prunes. He's a bigger fan of the multigrain over rice cereal. He does NOT like watermelon at all and makes the funniest face when he eats it.
Have a good night. Erin
