We are family...

One of the great things about the trip was spending time with family in both Memphis and Nashville. 

In Memphis, Lisa, her parents Betty (above) and Gene, and I walked almost every morning with Carter. Gene also treated me with a giant Starbucks too - a nice way to wake up. One morning, we even walked down to the park so Carter could swing with Lisa.

Dad also enjoyed playing "Davy Crockett" - ie, taking Carter outside and exploring . Usually, Carter really liked it but his face shows a different feeling. 

In Nashville, K10 enjoyed her solo Carter time and tried out the baby carrier (above).  I hope to get a pic of Grandma Pat to post too.  The last pic certainly shows a bit of resemblance between baby and daddy.
