"Special" Plate of Woo Hoo

This post is unique since I don't usually blog about work. As a few of you know, I finally had my budget presentation today after many delays. For some time, I've been very stressed and working crazy long hours to prepare. While we didn't get everything that we asked for, I performed my piece well - especially considering that I have less than 5 months experience in this field.   Simply put - WOO HOO!!! 

Switching topics to the plate.  

When I was little, my mom and dad would celebrate birthdays, accomplishments, etc with the "you are special" plate at dinner.  When my sisters threw me a baby shower last fall, I decided to give it as the hostess gift.  Since the plate is not commonly produced anymore, Lisa tracked down the original plate's manufactor and helped me find sellers on the internet.  I bought one extra so that my family can continue this Schwie tradition.  Today, it was my turn for "special" plate.
