Family Festivus

After Langston Thanksgiving in Nashville, it was Schwie family for Christmas. After flying solo over Christmas last year with newborn Carter, it was very different and family filled this year. We made a quick trip down to Houston for Christmas Eve and Day. The Sowell's hosted the festivities, despited Aunt Shelley having knee surgery lined up on Monday. She's a trooper.

A precursor to the future kids table: Matthew, Tyler, Carter, and Jake lined up.

We also met my cousin Stephie's baby, Kaydence, who was born right around C's bday in October. I can't remember Carter being that little. She adds much needed estrogen to the mix.

Jason, Chef Gene, Mike, Mark, Dallas, Steph and Shell. I sat next to Jason while Sara, Amy, and Bill wrangled the kids in the kitchen.
Jake was sweet with Carter and helped him unwrap a present. Last weekend, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Leo were in town from MN to visit the Bullocks. They took us and the Collums to Sunday jazz brunch at one of our favorite places, Birraporetti's.
Hope that you were able to spend time with your loved ones too! Erin
