Flashback: When I was in college, I always got my haircut by guys that lived in my dorm (they'd cut yours, then you'd cut theirs). It wasn't until a serious miscommunication with a barber that left me with a boot camp ready look and my decision to start cutting the hair myself. That was nine years ago, and I haven't paid for a hair cut since.
Present Day: It makes sense that when it was time to trim C's hair ,we kept it "in house" (with Mrs. Schwangston's oversight and permission, of course). I decided to work with a '8' guide ~1 inch, and Mommy did some trimming on top (her specialty). The final results are below.
The jury is out on if we'll keep it local or go to the pros in the future. But in this economy, that money is better saved on C's education.

Very cute. Ben used a 6 blad on Sawyer. I ddin't do any trimming though, too nervous! I think our kids have the same hair color. I won't say red b/c I know that Erin always argues the red hair thing.
I have to admit that I think it should be against the law to cut naturally red hair. Really, even on boys. Watch your back Bill and keep those scissors to yourself. :)
Carter looks great!! Was he as still as he looks in the photos or was it a wrestling match?? Great job team Schwangston keep it local!!
