I will go on record, if I haven't already, that sick kids are the worst. They don't want to do much but cry, whine/fuss, and don't eat much, which makes them even more whiny. Pretty much all the bad stuff about kids, with none of the good.
Erin and I split shifts over the next 3.5 days (I was home in the AM, and she'd come back for the PM). We weren't hopelessly behind at work, just on the road to hopelessness.
The pictures you see were some attempts to find happiness amidst the fog of puniness. Some of the highlights were:
Wearing Jammies all day long.
Putting 40+ stickers on the right leg, then taking them off, and putting them on our left while showing off some yoga moves
Watching Sesame Street each morning (I can't believe the same Grown-Ups are on "the Street" - how does Gordon stay young?)
Organizing all of our cups and bowls in semi-circle (odd kid- definitely from his mother's side).
And of course, building and destroying multiple block towers.
Let's hope the Schwangstons (and our readers) stay healthy the rest of the way.
Thanks for reading...
