Halloween

After the buildup of another Halloween, it is over. "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" has been deleted from the Tivo, the Jack-O-Laterns are going to be composting soon, and most of the candy is gone.

We had another good one this year. I was successful in bringing one of our neighbors, Dr. Eric, into jack-o-latern making (don't worry Ben, we're still not near your level). After three weeks of refusing to put on his costume, Carter showed again that he is a gamer and made it happen when the lights came on this week.

Our trick or treaters were sparse (~35-45ish), despite 4 years of full size candy bars. We did manage to hand out all of the big boys, and only gave one kid two -her costume was a "her riding a ostrich". Kinda looked like one of those yard blow-ups around a 11 year old girl.

I'm glad my VOLS came through this weekend, especially after that crushing loss last weekend. I just hope the black unis are their "Halloween costume", and only come out on the holiday. Hope you had a great one, and are slowing coming down from your sugar high.

Thanks for reading...

Love the video. You might have missed your calling as a film producer / director.

Carter's jack-o-lantern didn't sound like it had much in it. Hope that was early in the day. Great video!
