With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we've been working on some of Carter's table manners. He is pretty proficient with the basics (fork, spoon, knife), so he's been stepping up his game by using some new tools that pulled from the kitchen utensil drawer.
Tongs: Normally useful for corn on the cob, used here to get the right grip on a bite of waffle
1/3 Cup Measure: Obviously used in baking, cooking, and general measuring. Here it provides an assist on milk drinking.

Whisk: Used to whip a nice sauce, or beat an egg. Carter takes it to the next level eating "Stars & Cheese". How these actually stayed in, with the contortion of his mouth/tonuge to eat it, is a mystery...
Tablespoon: Again a useful measuring tool in the kitchen. Carter is making sure to get exactly 16oz of milk down to the last sip with this careful measurement.
No-Handed Tablespoon: Shamefully showing off to get a laugh. This is a big problem for us, and it seems to be a genetic situation.
Have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving.

Spoon in the mouth with no hands... great move, C! The ladies are going to love that one.
