When the cat's away...

...the mice will play. While we were in Oxford this weekend, Grandma Pat and C had a grand ole time. They did all kinds of fun stuff, starting with the 37 new books that she brought in her carry-on. Bill and I forgot to tell her that she would have to cut off book time before bed - it lasted about 1.5 hours the first night. They also spent all kinds of time exploring outside and even visited some with Aunt Anne.
One of the favorite new activities was lining up the Noah's Ark animals (awesome Melissa and Doug Ark bday gift from the Collum's) on the chair rail. As you can see, Carter was very proud as he showed off mad flexibility.

And, family festivus continues. First, thanks for your help, Grandma Pat! Aunt K10 comes on Thursday, with Dad/Lisa on Tuesday, then Thanksgiving Houston trip too. Bill's Ole Miss blog to come too...

Er - the picture of Carter lining up his animals reminds me of the time we were with Jake right after Tyler was born. I think we were babysitting so Sara could have a night out. Anyway, Jake lined up his little people in the bedroom and we were cracking up. I have some cute pics from that night!
