Unfortunately, we had to cancel our plans to attend the LSU game this weekend. Fortunately, we had a great day (probably better than the outcome of the game). Clark is keeping us up to date (or taunting) with tweets of beignets, a bloody mary, and good music.
Bill went for a long ride this morning, so the boys and I met up with Mark and Matthew at the awesomeness that is the Central Market playground. The bigger boys played for almost 3.5 hours while Mark and I sat in the shade and took turns on playground duty. It was so efficient that I managed to go next door (love Nordstrom's Rack) to return red cowboy boots and snag a brown purse. Mark and I took turns going into the store (for water, potty visits, chocolate milk, bouncy balls, and coffee for me). Owen slept, ate, changed diaper (repeat). We were close to Bill's ride, so he met up with us for lunch before going home.
The very busy morning lead to much needed naps. Bill and I sat down to watch the Vols take on the mighty Bayou Bengals. Carter was supposed to be napping. However, he was unsuccessfully trying to crack into the drawer on his cash register, while every stuffed animal cheered his escalating efforts. Bill went in to check on the banging and never came back...
At least they both have on orange (and yes, I removed the register after the pic)...we obviously gave our all for Tennessee today. Go Vols! Erin
Bill's Side: I must add that I did come off the Owen Night Shift the previous night with wake up calls at 1AM, 3AM, and 6AM and finally being greeted by Carter and the "Potty Bell" (Cowbell reward for successful potty) at 7:15.
I was certain that I was going to nap somewhere today it just turned out in C's room.
Thanks for reading...
