Owen's baptism

This past Sunday, we celebrated Owen's baptism at our Episcopal church.  All kids were incredibly well-behaved during the service. Owen didn't even cry when the water was poured on his head.  The squirmy little guy did attempt to roll out of Father Michael's hands and grab his stole.

His Godparents, Aunt Katie and Uncle Dan, were not able to fly in from Florida since baby Remy is still a little fella. Dad and Lisa did a good job serving as stand-in godparents for the ceremony.

Owen followed in his big brother and dad's footsteps by wearing the Langston christening gown.  I love that this family tradition has been passed onto the Schwangstons.  Grammy Pat made it when Aunt Kristen was baptized.  She has had each of the names and birthdates embroidered on the gown's slip.

Thank you to our family and friends (Melissa!) who shared in this special day with us!
