That is the name of the show, right? With summer reality shows starting soon (I think), here is your Schwangston's Most Talented. Are you artistic, musical, lyrical? Can you dance? Can you tumble like my cousin gymnast Stephie? I love the robot, but our ballroom dance lessons did not go well.
I like to write. Nerd alert. It was ole Guns and I duking it out for Wordsmith Creative Writing Competition at the county level on behalf of my Mustangs' team vs. the Spartans of White Station. I loved being on the yearbook and editing. What about you, Manders or Bryce? I strengthened my editing/writing skills with the help of many teachers, like Mr. Andre Louis Suffren, Ms. Knox or Ms. Rouse. I simply like languages - reading, writing, editing, and even the foreign ones. Yo amo espanol y francais.
Occasionally, I craft. I have a half-finished needlepoint circa Honduras (or even UT) somewhere. I like the idea of crafting more than the execution. I enjoy making floral arrangements and gardening - these days it's a lot of weeding. This is a good and abundant stress relief due to the Project's large lot. Not musically gifted at all. Not sure how I made 8th grade chorus unless they felt sorry for me. When I sing, it is not a joyful noise. I rarely sing in church, unless it's an oldie but a goodie hymn that I know deep down.
Bill? He takes and develops photographs. And sings. And used to play sax and the tuba in the marching band (supposedly it was cool at McGavock). And he can quilt (with his Langston womenfolk giving guidance on the sewing machine). And cook and bake. He wins the award in this household for "Most Talented."

Carter LOVES to sing. At children's chapel, we get a lot of "C was the best singer today!". We are working on singing vs. yelling. His art skills are coming on strong too. He's been working on letters and reading -- very interested in words and language. He enjoys cooking with daddy and decorating the cookies too.
Owen? Besides photography, he also shows signs of musical aptitude. Grammy, who sings and plays her piano/organ, bought a musical toy for O's birthday. I did request it for him. We keep it out of reach because he loves his new xylophone so very much and loves to be so very LOUD. He is a major ham for the camera and strangers, so he may have some acting/performing genes from Aunt KT. And if his love for play doh means that he's a budding sculptor, watch out Rodin.
What's your talent?

Yep, definitely the makings for a great reality show. Better, at least, than anything currently on tv.
