Pullen Park plus Pond

Can you say the blog title 5 times really fast? This post is long overdue.  Ahem, cough.  Excuse me. It took place last April on Good Friday.

We headed into Raleigh with our neighbors since school and work were closed for "spring holidays" aka Easter Break.  The City of Raleigh did an awesome job restoring Pullen Park and all of its features.   We spent most of our time on the playground, the train, pond and Historic National Register carousal.  Jeannie and I managed to play paparazzi while the hubbies kept the kiddos from capsizing.

Everybody managed to stay dry, have fun, and run off some spare energy for nap car rides home (about 30-40 min drive.  It's way over by NCSU).  We even ran into our friends, the Bruces.
