The Olive has Landed

In mid-July, we were pumped to have Olive experience her inaugural flight to RDU!  Oh, and Aunt K10 came too (first time to Chapel Hill!).  It was a long but all too short weekend.  Happy that Southwest flies direct from Nashvegas to RDU! We had so much fun that we barely took pictures.  Not a good one of all three cousins. Not sure if this action shot at the Maple View ice cream store visit counts.
I treated her to my famous CH, Carrboro and campus driving tour.  She also helped Bill with his custom built desk (another blog tagged to him). Saturday evening, we hit up another summertime favorite spot - Saxapahaw Music Fest.  Overall, the kids all got along great.  Owen relished in being older (not taller) that another little person.  He showed his love with loud "Baby OLUVs" all over the house and even willingly shared cars towards the end of the trip.

Our other photo shoot was at the airport! I taught K10 the beauty of the curbside check in when traveling with little people - this may have bought me a few extra minutes with Olive while mama got tickets and baggage squared away (note the background shot of Owen eyeing Olive's freedom in the front seat).

High-fives all around until next time!
