Carter's Check up
At the 2 month check up yesterday, Carter got a billion shots. I felt so sorry for the little guy - it hurt so bad that he turned a deep shade of dark red before the crying/screeching started. He weighed in at 11 lbs, 4 oz. and 22.2 inches. His weight is right on track in the 50th percentile, but his length and head size are a bit on the lower side. Nothing to be worried about at this stage. We were both so worn out afterwards that we had a little nap on the couch - a rare event, but the extra loving and snuggling from mommy (though his nap was eventually moved to his bassinette) and infant Tylenol made him feel lots better.

Sorry to hear about your rough day and that naps on the couch are a rarity. They are one of my favorite things about having a nursling. We even have a name for them: nursey naps!
