Since O's birth, we have had a lot of visitors and family over the past few months to both help out and meet him. We have also been traveling fools and brought O to go meet the fam. I previously mentioned quite a few visits, so I will just say thank you again, my gente (that's "people" en espanol, soft g = h, we and Diego/Dora are teaching C some Spanish, but that's another post for another day) and recap our recent visits.
In MN, we were able to spend time with a lot of family since my dad, mom, and Lisa are from there. Lisa's parents (who are technically step great grandparents) are Betty (Super Grandma, who is a baby whisperer) and Gene (Super Grandpa Gene - I shortened it to GG but not sure if it will stick, who is a grilling master pictured below). They rock.
My mom's sis, Aunt Pam, came over to the new house for dinner and to visit. She drove from afar, through a lot of traffic, and even brought O a very sweet gift - a homemade blanket (my mom was crafty too).
We also hung out with my dad's twin sisters, Sandy and Sue, and brother Kurt, along with crazy Uncle Leo (he belongs to poor Sandy) and my cousin Kristine at an awesome park/picnic and not so awesome boat ride (blog to come) on Lake Minnetonka.
Then in Nashvegas, O got to meet Uncle Dan, Aunt K10 & Uncle Ryan (K10 - send the pics from Friday night pls), along with Grammy Pat taking good care of him while I was at my reunion party.
I am also going to include Ash as "family" from the TN trip since she's been around since 1984.
Aunt Sara also met O in Dallas but I didn't take any pics in between the packing. Hopefully, she and the boys will come up from Houston in October for a joint bday party for C and Tyler (Sowell's too?). Now all we need is the FL crew to meet O, and we get to meet lil Remy, in January when we fly down there for Heidi's wedding and baby cousins introduction visit (and maybe a little Mouse if it works out)...
