Some of my extended family have become Floridians (like Aunt Rita) or are Floridians by birthright (at least they go to FSU over UF). Kate held a little brunch at her house while we were there over MLK. I didn't get pics of everyone (like the boys and Linda, Danimal's sweet mama). My great Aunt Rita (maternal Grandma Hagen's sister), C, a prominent belly shot, and me in the first one. The second shows Aunt KT, cousin Heidi and Robbie's new bride, Katie. We ran out of time this trip, but Rob is a firefighter and the invite to his firehouse across town probably would have beat Mickie Mouse in C's eyes.
We were also able to hang with the
Bloomers at their house, fresh off a plane from SC. It was great meeting Miles and seeing Elle/Brooks again. Interesting and fun to see how C interacted with all kiddos - Elle spent a bit of time practicing reading while entertaing the boys.
