As Bill mentioned, I am fighting a lingering cold. It's not bad enough yet to need antibiotics for this prego. Just bad enough to wear me down, and now I sound like death warmed over throughout the day. On Thursday, I stayed home from work. Why? Was I that sick? Not really, though I certainly needed the rest.
If you can avoid pregnancy in the winter, do it. Why? Well, pregnancy causes more mucus and congestion in general. Throw in a cold (and crazy weather changes). Throw in a more sensitive gag reflex . Throw in more throwing up in general.

In Bill's Escape, I-30 bridge over the Trinity. A coughing fit brought back up my OJ and pancake breakfast. You may remember that I HATE vomit. My intern at work kindly brought my laptop down to the car...and emptied the cup 'o puke into the gutter since I could not unstrap from my seat without severe consequences. He is a good guy.
