If I were a betting woman (which I am occasionally around bowl season and blackjack), I would have lost this one. Bill dreamt of having C potty trained by the time O arrived. I thought that there would be too much change and wait until later - shoot for 3rd bday deadline in October. Well, C exceeded my expectations. He is dry about 98% of the time - including at night with a pull up. These days, Diego is the favored underpants of choice.
He has become an expert at investigating public restrooms and port-a-potties (especially since he and Daddy spend a lot of time at parks). C loves the echo sounds in emptier ones as well as coaching you -"Mommy, you can do it, do a big one" if you need to go too. After a morning of riding in the bike trailer and stopping at a playground, Bill sent me this pic with the quote - "there's something down there, Daddy." Yes indeed.
Ya'll may remember my post in March from when I was prego and my Houdini child escaped the bathroom. Since that blog, I have had a few of you share when you see unique bathroom situations. Thank you, friends and please, no more.
I obviously don't go into the bathroom very often at Babies R Us. I purposely ran by it the other day while running errands since I knew that it had a "mother's room" to pump. Afterwards, I laughed my fanny off when I went to the bathroom and saw not 1 but 2 "wall mount child seats." Sweet.

Can you have Carter call Sawyer and give him some tips??? Audrey was trained at 20 months. Sawyer REFUSES to go within 10 feet of a toilet.
