Katie and I had a great, busy time together discovering Vegas together for the first time. My fav casino was the Bellagio. Of course, I had to include pic of the chocolate fountain at the patisserie. We also had one of my favorite, best, most scrumptious meals ever at one of its restaurants, Sensi. Highly recommend it if you are in Vegas. Yum does not do it justice.
- Walked through Paris Paris, Plant Hollywood Casino, Wynn, Venetian, and Palazzo.
- Watched the fountains at the Bellagio.
- Watched UNC beat Duke at Ceasar's Palace in the sports booking area (thanks for the support lil C).
- Rode the roller coaster (solo) at New York, New York (good experience but overrated).
- Walked and people watched alot.
- Did some actual shopping and even more window shopping.
- Got caught up on sleep (even Vegas can't overshadow new mommy fatigue).
- Saw Pete Rose signing autographs, a bit ironic.
Vegas was exhausting - too much to do and see, too many people, too much noise, too many lights, etc. I felt so bad about the babies in the casinos and out on town - I know that I was cranky at times due to overstimulation and cannot imagine how it must have been for the little ones.
While my male buddies Kennedy and Will blogged about recent Vegas trips with great recommendations, I must stress something for the ladies. Important Note - do yourself a favor and pack comfy walking shoes. Comfort/substance over style is a MUST. You simply walk way too much to look cute - fight the urge.
Katie- thanks for the invite and hope that you're having fun at the conference. As my loyal readers can probably tell, it's good to be home with my boys...Erin
