We were able to visit with our good friend Melissa last Sunday. She was unexpectedly in town to visit her folks. Her little one, Lucy, stopped by Starbucks with Grandma, but was quarantined from Carter since she was getting over being sick. Melissa has a pic of both - I will try to post it.
What else is going on? A few updates:
- Well, I got my hair chopped off today. It's short but not an official "mom" haircut yet (Bill's worst nightmare).
- I am headed to Vegas this weekend with my sister Katie - boys will be all alone. Wish them luck!
- Carter is getting baptized at the Easter vigil. Lots of family are coming. Aunt K10 and Uncle Ryan are his godparents. Cousin Matthew turns 1 years old that same weekend - expect lots of pics.
- We've had lots of questions about the Nanny. It's going just great - she is a wonderful blessing/addition to our household.
- Babies congrats galore to... good Dallas friends Heather and Stephen - Will weighed in a 9lbs 3 oz in mid-Feb.; UT friend Katy ("Utz") and Dave welcomed Lauren in on Sat.; and more UT friends, the Stalveys, are waiting on Emma Claire any day...
- Bill and I both voted in the primary yesterday. I went after work - I have NEVER seen such a crowd on voting day. Lines out the building - nice to see democracy in action, even if it was very unorganized.
It's almost spring! I am ready for sunshine and flowers, but wait, it's supposed to snow tomorrow... Erin

Snow in Dallas?!?! I hope not. I'm visiting my parents in McAllen this weekend. Crazy to think there are lines to vote in the primaries. We're definitely in for an historical election. Have a safe trip and win lots of money... or at least, don't lose lots of money!
