Riding over a bridge, speed bump, through the woods and puddles - awesome
The fact that a nut got loose and the ride ended way early - not awesome
When mom told Carter that she would take them out again in the trailer on her bike, Carter's answer? Awesome...or Not. "Mom, no you can't, you'll fall down."
Bill and I both assured him that I knew how to ride a bike.
He remains unconvinced.

So, have you shown Carter that you know how to ride a bike? Maybe he saw your earlier post (about dropping glasses) and was simply concerned for your safety :)
