Hello blog nation. Sorry for the absence of posts lately.
My good friend from grad school, Christina, came all the way from ATL for a visit this weekend. She was sweet enough to bring Carter a few presents - the teething ring is a BIG hit and in constant rotation. Thank you!
We managed to get a lot in for such a short amount of time. Girl time on Friday night - drinks in Dallas with Courtney, another UNC MPA alum, on Friday night. On Saturday, we hit the Southlake Art Festival with Carter. The weather was gorgeous; the art, not so much. Sat. night - dinner with Bill and Carter and we watched Rendition on DVD. A stressful (for me, at least), confusing but good movie. This morning, we had brunch with the boys and pedicures (without the boys) before seeing Christina off to the airport. Whew, I am tired just writing all of that.
Flash back pic - National Championship 2005 season. We (with Heather) had the coveted student tickets on the risers courtside. You have to stand the whole game; it was fun except that I had a broken toe.
