Winter Wonderland...

We're experiencing a Texas Snow day. It really doesn't snow much here, but we have a good 1/4 inch of ice, and that is plenty to paralyze this metro area of more than 6 million peeps. This is embarrassing to our Michigan and Minnesota readership, but please understand that DFW is used to sunny and 100+ days like you guys are used to temps in the teens, with snow measured in feet.

Carter is enjoying his snow day with Mommy (she's home sick, but getting more medicine - cross your fingers for us, please) & Daddy, as he is chased around the house and squealing in pitches that are surely driving our neighborhood dogs bonkers. Maybe we'll celebrate later by stocking up on milk, bread, and canned goods -- you can never be too safe, right?
