Just two weeks ago, I blogged about solo parenting while snowed in for 3.5 days straight. Yesterday was our first day with Bill in NC (technically driving across the country) and it yielded awesome weather. It was the opposite of being snow bound. Minnesota, Ohio, PA peeps - sorry. The high was 73.
After seeing Bill off, we went church and then played with Matthew in the "park" in hisbackyard, had lunch and then the boys napped. Our post nap project was to bury the St. Joe statue next to the brand spanking new "for sale" sign (thanks Manders). Hopefully it will bring us good tidings and a quick sale. Carter loved helping with this project.
We then headed up the street in the double stroller to the park, which was simply packed. Owen was content to chill and watch all the kids since the 2 baby swings were occupied every time I turned around, much to Carter's dismay.
To help ease the sting of leaving without swinging (he DID have 2 cars with him so all the fun was not lost), we strolled up to Sonic to share a treat before heading home for dinner My idea to share a shake was out the window when they brought C his own cone. A good ending to a good day - and I got the chocolate shake all to myself :)

So excited for your move- I am praying for a fast sale...then we can stop and see you on our way to the beach this summer!! Great catching up- I'll post a blog as soon as I upload a pic of Wade in his glasses.
You deserve a solo shake. Good job on the project. Hopefully St. Joseph will do his part now.
