Today was yet another gorgeous TX winter/almost spring day. It's a balmy 66 at 7:22pm as I write this. After a good nap by C, we decided to wash my (new) car. New as in last Sept. - we've just never blogged about it. Since she never would die, we just sold the Accordion for a bit of cash through a bike buddy of Bill's.
I got a Nissan Rogue and L O V E it. I always loved the Murano but it was too much money. This smaller, crossover version was much cheaper and came in under my budget, even almost fully loaded. I felt like a real grown up when I bought it. My favorite things - a remote clicker (I've never had one), heated seats, Bluetooth handsfree, a sunroof, the iPod connector and satellite radio. It rocks.
Carter very much enjoyed the suds of the soap, the hose, his water gun, and buffing it dry. He's already asking when we can wash it again, though he has several offers up and down the street to wash the neighbors' cars. Owen just chilled in his seat and yelled at us while drooling and teething a lot. He loves to be outside and have a good show to watch if he can't be in the mix.
