I know... another post about cycling? Sorry to those patient readers, waiting for pregnancy updates (Erin is doing fine by the way, we attended our lamaze/birth education classes this weekend). Now you have some idea what my wife has to put up with. As you may know from Erin's update last week, I made a pilgrimige to Boone/Blowing Rock and rode some hills with my buddy Matt.
It was Texas hot most of the trip, with the exception of our 28 mile climb up to Mt. Mitchell (highest peak east of MS). We shivered at the top, before flying down in a third of the time we spent climbing it.For those of you who wonder why I love to ride bikes, the Blue Ridge & Smokey Mountains are a good argument for the cause.

I am ready for some pregnancy updates, but I thought it was pretty neat to see my junior prom date on your blog! It's a small world. I hope yall are doing well and surviving the heat!
