Nursery pictures...

While we are not completely done, here are a few pics of the nursery. Bill did a good job painting the nursery and making these cool book/collectible shelves (design stolen from Pottery Barn). We don't really have a theme - just colors of blue, green, and yellow. Bill's mom, Pat, is making a crib skirt and bed skirt with the same striped fabric on the valance and hanging over the crib. My great grandmother's rocking chair was recovered mostly by my good friend Heather L., with a tiny bit of assistance from me. That's all for now...if the pics come out crazy on this post...sorry. I'll have Bill fix it when he gets back from Knox-vegas.

The nursery looks great. You can't have too many books in a child's room.

Love seeing "The Giving Tree" on the shelf. That brings back some great OL memories at the Torchbearer. "Five Little Monkeys" is still one of Zoe's favorites. Kids dig monkeys.

Love it! The paint and fabric are great! Also, great call on having a bed in the nursery! That will come in handy!

How awesome! I really like the way the paint color turned out, and the shelves are fantastic. I love to rip off PB and PBKids.
