After three great days in Seattle, we ventured north to visit our North American neighbor Canada - specifically Vancouver. For those who haven't made it to Vancouver, it is worth the trip. The mountain and water combination is money. Vancouver is a much trendier, hipper town that I expected, and according to our research, it is very Euro (Erin also agrees). Like Seattle, they are very bike-friendly - most of the downtown streets and the Lions Gate Bridge
(the main highway connecting North and downtown VC) have bike-only lanes. Way to represent, my two wheeled brothers Canada.
The biggest tourist spot in VC is the Capilano
Park with a HUGE suspension bridge and treetop boardwalk. The bridge wobbled and swayed with all the people walking over it. If you were looking down, it could be a vertigo/ freak out situation (ed. note - I'm not the biggest heights fan), but I played it cool and we had no trouble. The treetop boardwalk was a series of bridges and skywalks 40-50 off the ground that connected these gigantic fir trees. It looked just like the Ewok village in Star Wars, but instead of Ewoks, there were just a bunch of skinny Euros and pudgy Yankees strolling around.

Everyone have a great Labor Day and cheer for the VOLS tonight!
Thanks for reading...Bill

How did you two find the Ewok village?? I thought is was in a super secret location? That is so cool! It sounds like the babymoon was a big success!
How about a pool with dates to guess when the little schwangston arrives?? Just an idea?
