Independence Day

We attended the school parade on Friday morning. Lots of red, white, and blue - plus snow cones!

And then we attended the City of Arlington parade yesterday afternoon.  Apparently, it's one of the largest 4th parade's in the country. 

Carter LOVED the firetrucks, of course.  The high school bands were a-okay too. He even saw his babysitter Miss Sarah with the cheerleaders.  Occasionally, a float was called a goat. And rumor has it that he even made it on TV.

Last but not least, Bill snapped this pic on a bike ride.   Seriously, Uncle Sam is a blow up?
