Tale of the tape...

Carter actually turned 9 months old last week, but we went to the doctor today so here is the full report. He is nearly 28" long and 19lbs 2.5oz. He is splitting the uprights now in the 50th percentile. We are excited about that b/c up until now, he was in the lower quarter, and I was concerned lil' C could become a lifelong nickname. He was very brave for his shots and was probably more upset about being pinned down over the actual sticks that he received.

He scored high marks in all the other categories. With his strong physical development (standing and rumbling along, nearly walking), he is looking solid for the Baby Olympics this summer. His only deduction was the unfortunate timing when Carter "marked his territory" in the examination room. Our doctor seemed to leave a little opening in his diaper after his physical exam, and he took advantage. Hopefully that won't hurt him too much with the judges. If so, maybe we'll just roll down to the park and see if any of the kiddos want to race or wrestle...

Thanks for reading.

He looks so peaceful! Sawyer and Carter look a lot a like - fat legs, bald heads and chubby cheecks. Makes for a cute baby!

So are you trying to get us back for the hair post by bragging about your child hitting the 50th percentile?? Meanwhile, our tiny V is in the 4th percentile despite her luscious locks of curly hair? I see how you two are! Enjoy it while it lasts...once he starts walking he'll get skinny again and then you'll be force feeding him ice cream. :)
