Well, maybe not traditions, per se, I just liked that post title. We've spent a lot of time in TN playing and visiting with friends and family. We have hit up a few of our favorite TN spots, like the Pancake Pantry with Aunt K10 and a cold, fun trip to the Bicentennial Park Mall with her and Grammy while Bill enjoyed a long bike ride in Percy Warner in the snow flurries.
Reed and Pace played with us at the Fort Park in the freezing cold...we also hit a few east-side spots with Reed and managed to find 2 new yummy restaurant/bars. Continuing the tradition of every time we attempt a drink there, the Family Wash was closed. Coincidence that it was open for a NY Times mention?
Fresh off a trip to Charlotte, the Wyatts hosted us at their beautiful house. Lucy great at sharing her new toys. Carter showed Eli the ropes of how to make towers and do puzzles.
Jeremy Stephens is an old UT friend who actually played the violin in our wedding. He is another Normandy bud that I've kept up with, along with Guns and Connellie. It makes me so sad that the program is now defunct.
You might remember the gorgeous May wedding of Elizabeth (aka Guns) and Brandt at Avery Island. We were able to see their new home in Sylvan Park. Carter loved/feared the whimsical circus toys from the Guenther clan.
More UT buddies Jess & Stephen came by the Langston house with their sweet girls for a quick visit.
One of my very oldest friends from Kimbrough Woods and college roommate, Ash and her hubby Trevor, conveniently live on the way to the AL, sort of. We stopped by their farm to finally meet their little girl, Raleigh.
Besides all of the kiddos, Carter's new best friend is "Peppy". This kitty love will definitely be restricted to Grammy and Aunt K10's houses in TN. No new Schwangston tradition starting with his cat love.
