If you look closely at the picture, you may notice a broken glass. I am not the clumsiest of Schwie girls - that title goes to an older sister. However, I have broken 2 glass objects this week alone, for probably the first time in years. [BTW, the only thing I typically drop is my iPhone (older version) but did you know that you can get the glass replaced for only $85 at non Apple stores? And, I am living with a smaller crack in the bottom until my upgrade is ready in August. Anyhoo.] Both times that I dropped the glasses, my boys were thankfully in safer spots. Above, O is locked down in his chair and C was napping. The first time, I quickly got them to play in C's room while I cleaned it up.
The second time really made me stop and think, especially when a tiny sliver of glass showed up in my finger a few days later and won't heal. It's out of my finger but still nagging, a bit painful to heal since its in my joint. I don't know all the lessons yet that I am supposed to be learning from this besides to SLOW down (and maybe to vacuum more often, which I needed that reminder since our patterned berber carpets hide dirt well?)...something to think about.

Yikes. It seems this has been under-reported. You definitely need to slow down, and get a case for your iPhone.
