Let's Go Heels! And some brotherly love...

Yesterday after church, I managed to watch the second half of the game with fellow Heel fanatic Uncle Mark while Amy prepped for trial. It was almost as much fun as watching them from Vegas with Kate.

Wow - close call on the ending there but a W is a Win.  The boys played a ton, though C was a little disappointed that we could not go see his other cousins afterwards (the concept of Jake living in Houston 3.5 hours away has not settled in, though we hope to go visit again before the boys and I head to NC permanently in early May).  Carter already differentiates his orange team (Go Balls Vols!) and blue team (Go Carolina!).   C broke my garden flag holder, so  I resorted to the window suction cup holder to show our support.  Owen LOVES the open door anyway and the new flag occupied him for about 15 minutes.  Yes, he usually wears pants over his (droopy) diaper that is pictured.

The boys are playing together more - usually in a nice manner.  Carter is definitely less gentle with O than he used to be since "my baby is getting bigger." Owen tolerates it typically - eggs him on with laughter when he is having fun (like tickle pic at the top or a version of chase). He definitely alerts me with a LOUD scream if he does not like the latest wrestling move or being "trapped" under C's red chair during hide and seek (not pictured since that shrill shriek made me almost drop the camera in my haste to rescue). Yes, I watch them VERY closely these days, especially since C likes to practice walking with O (aka, dragging him down the hallway by his arm) or hug/carry O with not-so-gentle drops.

Owen is taking up to 5-6 steps on a longer walk-about but still prefers to crawl since he is a speed demon. He loves to cruise the furniture/walls and "practice" walking by holding anyone's hand to help.  It's funny because he has really good balance - Bill named him the "Statue of O" since he will stand in place so still forever, just watching the world go by (until brother or a cousin brushes past and knocks him down)...

Later skaters.

PS: dear Internet, what is going on with UT's Pearl and Hamilton?  Who do you think will go first? Who will will it all?  Comment away, internet.  You are my main source of adult convo these days so leave me one!

Hello Erin...It is your friend the Internet. I've missed you got your laptop serviced we haven't been able to "connect" like we used to.

Hopefully those boys aren't too much trouble and we can get back to seeing what kinda craziness Charlie Sheen, and Lindsay Lohan have been up to soon. LILAS-The Interweb.
